Join the G Group Bangkok June/July Virtual Happy Hour

Earlier this year, G Group supported a request from our partner firm, IBC Consultants, to assist in identifying credible delivery partners for a potential Bangkok-based training and organizational development effort.

That request started with a specific project need. It also surfaced a broader opportunity.

Across Bangkok, Thailand, and the wider region, there are strong trainers, facilitators, organizational development practitioners, coaches, HR professionals, and consultants doing serious client work. Many have deep practical experience. Many are independent or part of smaller firms. Many are visible within their own networks, although the broader market remains more fragmented than it should be.

G Group is using the June/July Virtual Happy Hour as a first step toward improving that visibility.

Purpose of the Virtual Happy Hour

The G Group Bangkok June/July Virtual Happy Hour is an asynchronous professional discussion for people working across training, facilitation, organizational development, HR, coaching, consulting, and related delivery areas.

The event will run from Tuesday, 30 June to Thursday, 2 July 2026. There is no fixed call and no meeting time. Participants can contribute when convenient through a LinkedIn message thread.

The purpose is practical:

  1. Introduce credible professionals across Bangkok, Thailand, and the wider region.

  2. Understand who delivers what, where, and under what model.

  3. Identify possible delivery partners, subcontractors, referral partners, and collaborators.

  4. Be better prepared to support the original IBC-related opportunity, if it moves forward.

  5. Build a stronger regional view of capability for future partner and client opportunities.

This is not intended to be a large generic networking group. The immediate goal is to understand capability, availability, delivery fit, and interest in future project support.

Why This Matters

When a partner firm or client needs support quickly, relationships alone are not enough.

It is useful to know who has relevant delivery experience, what topics and formats they can support, whether they are available for short-term or project-based roles, what geographies they can realistically support, and whether they are interested in future partner or client opportunities.

The original IBC Consultants request made this practical need clear. G Group’s broader objective is to maintain a better organized view of regional capability so future opportunities can be supported with more speed, confidence, and structure.

Who This Is For

This effort is relevant for professionals working in or around:

  1. Corporate training

  2. Facilitation

  3. Organizational development

  4. Leadership development

  5. Executive coaching

  6. HR advisory

  7. Communication training

  8. Change management

  9. Project delivery

  10. Management consulting

  11. Independent consulting or small professional firms

Professionals based in Bangkok, elsewhere in Thailand, or elsewhere in the region are welcome if their work is relevant to regional delivery.

How the Virtual Happy Hour Works

The format is asynchronous. There is no single call and no fixed meeting time.

Participants can contribute when convenient during the event window. Short prompts will guide the discussion around introductions, delivery capability, availability, collaboration interests, and referrals.

The goal is not volume. The goal is practical visibility.

Connection to Digital HQ

This effort also connects to G Group’s Digital HQ work.

Digital HQ is focused on helping independent consultants, trainers, coaches, and small firms move from scattered tools and informal follow-up to a more structured environment for client engagement, collaboration, knowledge, delivery routines, and business development.

For a professional bench or delivery-partner network, the same principle applies. Relationships matter. Structure makes those relationships useful when a real opportunity appears.

Next Steps

After the virtual happy hour, G Group will review message thread comments and form responses to identify:

  1. Potential fit for the original IBC-related opportunity, if it moves forward.

  2. Potential fit for similar future training, OD, facilitation, HR, coaching, and consulting projects.

  3. Delivery partner, subcontractor, referral, and collaboration interests.

  4. Capability gaps or additional people who should be included.

  5. Practical next steps for G Group’s regional OD, training, and Digital HQ work.
